Poland is the 14th most attractive tourist destination in the world, with over 14 million tourists visiting this beautiful country every year. There are 13 UNESCO world heritage sights in Poland. The best known are the old town in Warsaw, the Wawel Castle in Krakow, the Wieliczka Salt Mine and, of course, the Auschwitz Nazi Concentration Camp. These sights are not only important for the culture and history of Poland, but they are significant parts of the cultural and historical heritage of the world. This is the reason why it is very important to preserve them for the next generations.
